Mission Urantia - 3

Machiventa Melchizedek, Planetary Manager
Transmitter/Receiver: John Morris
Invocation: JT

January 22, 2024

MACHIVENTA: Good morning, this is Machiventa. I'm delighted to be with you once again as by your intentions you create this space that makes it possible for us to connect with one another. On our side we observe you and we see that it's been a very busy and interesting couple of weeks. We look at you; we see you going through the very processes that we're asking you to use to design policies, laws, the working mechanisms for people to learn to work together for common values and for common good, to put aside differences and instead of making differences, making cooperation happen. And so, I welcome you to this process. You are being very much initiated in planetary management for planetary management takes in a vast diversity and tries to bring it into a wholeness while respecting diversity but making this diversity appear within a wholeness as opposed to outside of it or opposed to wholeness.

So, what is it that makes us one, that brings us together in a Spirit of cooperation? Is it not the divine Father's lack of respect for any individual, that he is no respecter of persons, that he loves us each equally, and in this loving us equally, he has bestowed upon each one his Spirit. And it is this Spirit that provides the unity, the wholeness, the foundation for the sister and brotherhood of humankind. And as we have this foundation and we begin to experience it in time-space, it seems that there's nothing but difference, nothing but diversity, nothing but uniqueness. And so, we have different cultures all over this world who have evolved different perspectives on not only their lives but different perspectives on how they view their spiritual lives. We have many diverse lines of thought about this to the point where over the history of this world, due to the Lucifer Rebellion, these diverse views of the spirit world have given rise to many wars and where people are literally murdering their brothers and sisters in the name of their perception of God. This is still going on even in this moment today. And I tell you, my little ones, this must come to an end. You must learn how to work together, resolve our differences, become conscious of how we allow these differences to seep into our very best intentions and then to overcome them.

So, part of the work, of course, of conscious contact, stillness practice, and meditation is about being willing to hold up a mirror to yourself and your inner life and take a deep look into your subconscious and unconscious mind and become aware of all the early childhood indoctrinations and inculturation that you had to absorb unconsciously, unwittingly, unable to defend yourself, because that was just your experience. But as you grow spiritually, you must be willing to challenge these biases to see them for what they are and to move beyond them. Because if you do not, then it's very hard to bring diverse points of view together and work in harmony with one another and go through a process—this co-creative design team process that we look at—as it begins to uncover these biases. It's very hard for you not to want to defend them. You want to rationalize them, explain them, and excuse them instead of just seeing them and accepting the gift of the revelation of a bias for what it is—an opportunity to grow, to increase your capacity for love.

And so, we're learning a great deal about ideas that we can bring to you, to ask you to work with, and then to observe how you work with them. Are we premature? Are we asking too much of you? Do you have it within yourself to rise to this challenge and to this opportunity? And when these biases are brought to the fore, brought into consciousness, can you look at them honestly? Can you go into your stillness practice and ask your Thought Adjuster for help to truly seek the will of the father for you and to know what you need to do to stay in relationship and work with those who have different perspectives than yours? But this is truly what global management is from a global perspective. As we do not respect individual persons, we do not respect individual traditions in the sense that none has preference over another. In global management our work is with the globe, it's with everyone. And we would seek to bring unity to people in a way that they can grow individually. We're not concerned with purifying traditions, social groups, cultures, or political systems. We are concerned with the individual religionists, the individual person growing to the point where brotherhood and sisterhood seem attractive, natural, and as a way to see solutions to problems that involve us all.

So, I say this by way of introducing the idea that a wholeness and a oneness based on equality is a very high ideal. Because to see someone as equal, you certainly have to see them through the eyes of love. Out of equality comes this general love for humanity, empathy, and compassion which we will need in abundance to begin to move this world out of the shadows of rebellion and into the light of Light and Life.

So, I want to open the floor now to questions, but rather than answering questions that have to do with things outside of yourself—organizations or global issues which can often be used by the ego as a distraction from doing the inner work. I would like to invite you to begin to talk amongst yourselves and to me and my staff about what it is in you that creates resistance to this idea of equality and unity and oneness. And I would then be able to speak more to the impediments that prevent progress. So, I invite you to ask your questions and let us join in a conversation about how we grow into this concept of infinite diversity within a wholeness. Thank you.

Bea: I have a question. I don't know if I can do this, but I have a question for Machiventa. What I heard you say is about the lack of prejudice and acceptance of everyone as part of the human family. I don't want to sound egotistic, but I have been working on this and I think I've made some progress. My question is more around how you deal in the most loving way with somebody who is of a different mind, where they don't believe in the human family. How would you approach that? How have other planets approached that? Sorry, I'm making it very big.

MACHIVENTA: This is Machiventa. No, these are wonderful questions Bea because it gets to the heart of the matter of how you approach someone who is a challenge to you, who holds ideas so opposite to you that, not only is it very hard to relate to them, but they're closed-minded, so you can't really have much of a conversation with them. How do you deal with someone like that? Can you see them as someone who is hurting, as someone who has yet to understand very much about their own makeup and the makeup of the reality in which they find themselves? So, to be able to look at someone like that and be able to, in your heart, truly see them through the eyes of love, is maybe all you can do if you can even do that. And certainly, you must use discernment as to how you engage with someone like that keeping in mind that we are not here to change anyone. We are simply here to invite people to a process to help them understand that they have it within themselves to find the very thing they're looking for so hard in the outside world that has yet to meet their expectations for happiness, for peace, for love, for joy, but yet it's within them. All of that is within them when they begin to search the inner world and to ask for guidance. So, we have compassion for these people, we use our own spiritual maturity and growth to be able to see when and where an opening might exist to plant a seed here and there. And oftentimes we just have to simply see them, bless them, and allow them to be in their own process. Thank you.

Bea: Thank you. That reminds me of The Urantia Book in reading about Jesus. And if I am not incorrect, he would approach people, but he would know who was approachable and who was not approachable. Is that correct?

MACHIVENTA: That is correct. And that's why his apostles asked him on occasion, “why did you not stop to speak words of good cheer to this person?” Because he often did that as his habit was as he passed by, and he just could say to them, “He's simply not available.” And he used a parable of casting pearls before swine. And all he meant by that was that to try to reveal truth to someone who's not seeking for truth or unavailable to it is simply not really helping them. You're not doing anything positive for them. So, it takes great discernment to make that understanding because Jesus also taught his apostles not to judge. In using discernment, it requires a certain amount of what might seem like judgment, but when you stay open in your heart in a compassionate way, to be able to tell the difference between someone who's available and isn't and still remain in an attitude of love to them is the difference between discerning and judging. Thank you.

Bea: Can I ask one more question now that you mentioned Jesus?

Bea: What was his demeanor? I understand he didn't approach people who were closed. That makes sense. He had the unique gift of knowing that and probably knowing more about them. What was his demeanor around them? Do you know what I'm trying to say? Would he look at them and smile? Would he just… I don’t know, this might be a silly question, but was there any way that he may have tried to express friendliness or openness with these people who were closed?

MACHIVENTA: Well, let me say this about Jesus. We all vibrate at a certain frequency. We all have an aura; we all have an energy field around us, and it acts in many ways like a magnet—it's attractive, it repels. So, Jesus was of such a high frequency of energy that he was naturally attractive. People were naturally attracted to Jesus. And so, he didn't experience any closing down in his heart or in that energy field even when he came upon people which he could easily discern were not available to him. He blessed them with the same love, kindness, and compassionate look as he gave to everybody. And he saw them as his child, as his son, as his daughter, and he felt great compassion for them. But he also had the long-range view of a Son of God. So, he knew what was waiting for that person if not in this life, then in another. So, he didn't worry particularly about trying to save that soul because he never saw that soul as being unsaved. So he had a very unique perspective and it would really benefit each and every one who feels so moved to read that section in The Urantia Book from the point of view of not trying to understand his words so much, but actually trying to look a little deeper in between the lines and see how he lived his life, how did he handle himself in just situations like this. And then you can get a very unique understanding of his perspective and it's very personal to you. You can also pray in your stillness practice and ask Jesus this very question. And you can receive an answer because he is not apart from us. He dwells within us in his Spirit of Truth and he is always available. So, I would encourage you to do that as well. Thank you.

Bea: Thank you. That was beautiful. I love the fact that you said that Jesus knew that they would be okay in the long run and that completely resonates with me. I understand that.

MACHIVENTA: He looks at us all the same way, but because we know that about ourselves, it's not an excuse to slack off and just coast through this life. Do you understand what I'm saying?

Bea: Absolutely.

MACHIVENTA: Why waste this incredible opportunity of this mortal life to grow just because we think that “I can just defer some of this hard work to the mansion worlds?” You can, it's a choice, but you miss out on a tremendous opportunity here that will pay dividends for you when you do arrive at the Mansion Worlds.

Bea: 100%.

Recca: I'd like to tie what you just said, Bea, to what Machiventa just asked us to do about examining or connecting with our inner work—our inner stillness practice—and apply the fact that I am unapproachable to myself often. My Adjuster led self—my Father inhabited self—invites my secular self—my outward self—to inner observation, contemplation, and connection with the universe, with the spirit world. And I often say, “I'm going to defer that to the mansion worlds.” as you just said. I say, “Oh, I'm going to defer that to when I can sit down with a piece of paper and a pencil or when I can turn on my phone and talk into my phone and record.” I don't do that very well, but I'm always saying, “in a second, in a nanosecond, I'll do that. That's a great idea.

I'm working on my ability to [do that] now.” (I'm asking you, Machiventa, and the group here.) How do we approach ourselves to bring the spirit of ourselves? I'm talking about unity of personality, I think. I’ve got to throw away a lot of bad habits and I've got to recognize these habits of ahh, deferment of ahh, I can handle this or ahh, it's not important. I want to be a fuller person to be able to raise my vibration level so that yes, people will approach me as well as I want to be approachable. I'll stop right there. Do you have any comments on that work?

MACHIVENTA: Sure. This is getting to the core of your spiritual practice and one of the qualities that you need to develop as you go through spiritual growth and outgrowing is the ability to be really brutally honest with yourself, knowing that in this environment of your inner world, in your stillness practice, when you are trying to make this connection with Spirit, when you're trying to grow an awareness of Spirit in your life, you have to be brutally honest. And this is done in an atmosphere of unconditional love because the other side of it is you can hardly be willing to have that kind of self-honesty without getting into blaming yourself and feelings of guilt and shame and then anger and fear and all this negativity if it's hard for you to know that you are already unconditionally loved. God knows you, Spirit knows you, your Indwelling Spirit knows you better than you know yourself. There is nothing hidden and yet you are worthy of unconditional love. So, one of the big spirit blockers is that people don't go deep enough to understand that they actually have a very hard time in a non-egoic way receiving this unconditional love and just accepting it and relaxing into it and knowing that in this moment all is well, there's no problem. Everything is unfolding as it should. And here you are being invited in the most kind and loving way to sit down with a being that loves you without condition, that has only your best welfare at heart. And to lay bare all the things within you that prevent you from making spiritual progress.

So, this is the inner work that has to kind of happen at a rudimentary level in every human being. This willingness to accept total responsibility for themselves, for every emotion they have, particularly negative, reactive emotions of fear, anger, jealousy, envy, revenge, intolerance, and impatience because emotional self-mastery or self-mastery [in general] is just another synonym for spiritual practice. And it's kind of a prerequisite before you get to a place where you can walk around the way Jesus did and have people just naturally be attracted to you because it literally changes your energy field and your aura. And then it's a natural outgrowth of your own ability to love yourself because you cannot love another anymore than you can love yourself. So, there's a paradox there, and as you learn to love yourself, you will naturally learn to love others. And then, as Jesus taught his apostles, it's not so important that you learn to love the whole world as it is that you learn to love one more person each day and you naturally grow in an expansive self-acceptance, other acceptance until you begin to truly see these individuals as spiritual brothers and sisters. And upon that recognition and growing awareness in an individual, the brother and sisterhood of humankind will be built because it's built upon the Spirit growth within you of the acceptance of the Father's unconditional love and Jesus often referred to that as the Fatherhood of God.

That is why the Spirit within—the Thought Adjuster—is so key to our work. That is why we—as a Mission Urantia—are not a “religious organization” so much as we are an organization of religionists and religion being defined as your personal relationship to your Indwelling Spirit. We are gathered together for social service not to create a religion or to purify a religion or to correct any religion, but to simply live with this attitude of compassion and loving kindness to everyone. And in that loving kindness we share with them these values that we all have in common, that, yes, at their heart are spiritual, but not necessarily does it need to be conveyed directly in a spiritual way when it's already being conveyed in an attitude of unconditional love and acceptance, which is a spiritual attitude. You want to attract people into having a different focus that's common to all of humankind, that allows a basis for us to overcome our differences and work together to solve the many issues this world has before it. Thank you.

Recca: Thank you very much.

Marthe: Thank you very much Machiventa. I really, really loved the last few minutes of your description, and I wanted to ask you one of those big questions. You were saying that emotional self-mastery is another word for spiritual practice and this loving kindness that we have towards others [stems from] when we first accept ourselves and realize how loved we are by Spirit. Previously when I asked about healing, you explained that when people have not had perfect parenting, they can heal themselves in their spiritual practice. But now that we are looking at the challenges of the world and people who are called narcissists who are leaders of whole nations, is it correct to think that even something like narcissism, which creates misery in the lives of so many families and people and also in the lives of nations, when you get a leader of that kind. Is it correct to think that such a personality type is directly related to one's parenting? And how exactly does a person, in using their spiritual practice, go about healing their own tendencies that came from being unloved? For instance, if somebody has narcissistic qualities, and I guess there's a little bit of that every one of us, it's how does one use one’s spiritual practice to become the kind of loving person one would've been had one been better parented? Thank you.

MACHIVENTA: Yes. Well, this certainly gets to the heart of the matter. One has to sometimes take what I or any other spiritual, celestial being says and look at it through the prism or lens of your own personal experience so you can see how you got to be a more loving, kind, and compassionate individual even though your parenting was less than perfect. Now each person is indwelt by the Spirit of our Creator. So, this Spirit works unceasingly to present opportunities to people to make a moral choice—to make the choice between right and wrong. Some people are fairly ambivalent to this. They're decent people, they do good things, but they just don't go very deep with it. That describes a large part of humanity. Some people when presented with the choice between right and wrong consistently choose wrong. Now, this may have been partly due to their upbringing, to the kind of parenting they had or lack of parenting that they had, so they have perhaps a steeper hill to climb. But they are still presented with ample opportunity to choose right and wrong and they persistently choose wrong. And then they become conscious of this choice that they're choosing wrong, and they become literally iniquitous beings and [if] they persist down this path long enough, their soul literally shrivels from lack of spiritual nourishment, and they actually become incapable of making a right choice. I do not judge those people. I just see that this happens, and you have individuals on this world, some in visible places in terms of being heads of governments, that are fairly oppressive and use violence, but many behind the scenes. Right now, this world is literally being suffocated by materialists and greedy individuals who have lost almost all ability to make a moral choice. And even though a part of them recognizes that the choices they are making are destroying the very environment they themselves and their family and children depend upon for life, they still do it. Worse are those who are so selfish with individual ambition and greed for power that they see war as a way to keep them in power, and then those who see war as simply a way to make a profit.

So, this is what we are working against in this world; people who will not respond to the opportunities they are given to make right and moral choices. And here we are trying now within ourselves to counteract that. And it seems on the surface that it's an impossible task, but I can tell you for a fact that for Christ Michael, Monjoronson, myself, we would not be here if we for one minute thought that we would not prevail. So, we come here to ask each who hears or reads these transcripts to take the time to cultivate the relationship with the Indwelling Spirit for that is where the power to change comes from and to be honest with themselves and do the inner work and really dig deep and pray. Ask your Indwelling Spirit to help reveal to you where it is that you need to work and focus yourself so you can bring to consciousness the blockages that you have within you and hold them up to the divine light and allow divine light to simply shine it away so that it no longer represents an impediment to the flow of divine love in you. When we have enough people that can do this on a consistent basis, we will turn the tide of energy in this world and things will happen quite quickly. Right now, these are the beginning times of trying to cultivate a revelation such as The Urantia Book, the Teaching Mission, and the Magisterial Mission that uplifts people's understanding of who is responsible, who is the spiritual authority in their life. Is it exterior to them or is it interior to them? And when people decide that their religious, spiritual authority is actually their responsibility—it is not the responsibility of some exterior source or force—then they have gotten themselves to the starting gate of spiritual growth, and now they can make true progress at a deep level that will contribute to a global point of view that will help support our plans for this world.

We certainly have to have recognition at a certain capacity of a number of people in this world before you can even begin social programs that are based upon the seven core values. But we have to begin, and this is the generation that has shown itself to take advantage of the revelations they have found in their life, the openness of Spirit within them, the ending of spiritual quarantine, the adjudication of the Lucifer Rebellion—from a universal point of view that happened just yesterday, it's still happening. We are simply beginning to crawl out from under spiritual quarantine, an active rebellion, and now we are dealing with the impacts of rebellion and trying to clean it up. It has to start someplace. It has to start in some generation. It has to start with a few individuals and then we can grow it.

And so, this is what we are involved in with this group, with all of these groups that are involved, including The Urantia Book readers. This is new information. Each will take it in and do with it according to their faith, their understanding, and their perception. But this is a universal and a global process, and we are simply asking people to come and join us in this and help us spread the good news that help is here, help is actively working, and they have a very real part in taking responsibility for that. And that's why we call it co-creative. Thank you.

Marthe: Thank you so much. It's a wonderful answer.

Bob: Yes. My question is similar to Bea’s in a sense, but it is kind of specific to another group too. I believe that the younger people today are caught up in secular activities and things, but they still somewhat remain open to different things. So, I was wondering how it would be best to approach the younger people of today with the message that we have.

MACHIVENTA: Yes, thank you, Bob. This is Machiventa. We are trying to put together an organization that will do just that, that can come up with a message that we can co-create together, that we can then very soon market through social media, through public relations, through our personal relationships, but began to create an interest and a place for people to go to get more information—where they can read about things at their own pace and absorb them at their own pace, but are very clear about the processes and the plan, which is essentially twofold. It is this personal plan of self-growth through contact and cultivation and seeking within your own divine relationship—what we call auto revelation. Then there is this greater plan where we have all this information in The Urantia Book, the transcripts from the Teaching Mission and secondary works that are growing out of that which is a part of the epochal revelation. And when people contact us, we who sit in a position of perhaps being at this slightly longer and being maybe a rung ahead of them on this ascension ladder, we have a means to reach our hand back down to them as they reach up and help them, help pull them up even as we reach up to those above us. And so a robust website done with many links, many choices for people to get in touch with this information in a way that's inviting, in a way that does not put upon them any preconditions, but in a way that simply invites them to what we're working with—Spirit, that we're working with planetary management, that there is a plan and there is a way of sitting down together and using values to make better decisions. When these ideas are presented correctly the generation that is coming up behind us will be very open to them.

We look back to our generation and boy, some of us can look back and see the sixties and seventies as an opening in consciousness, a challenging of the status quo. Well guess what? These are mostly a lot of the people who are here today. They were teenagers and young adults in those days, and they haven't altogether given up on trying to find an alternative to the status quo. So, as we can put this message out there, this new generation of millennials is open, but they need to have a place to look. And right now, they're searching. And it's just a fact that cultures, nations, and civilizations that were basically founded in traditional religious thinking are fading. The influence of that traditional thinking is fading. The interest in it by this new generation is certainly fading, and they're hungry. They are looking for something. But we have something that will feed them, feed their longings, feed their aspirations, and allow their imaginations to imagine one day such a thing as global government, world peace, and all these things that need to come about in order for a magisterial mission to begin to function here and bring about light and life on this world.

So, we have a unique opportunity to get our message together and to get it out there. I hope that that answers somewhat your question, Bob.

Bob: It does.

MACHIVENTA: Okay. Thank you.

MACHIVENTA: This is Machiventa. I know some people who hear and read these words will be disappointed. They want me and my planetary management team to lead in a different way. They want us to present you with options, with choices. They want us to lay out for you what the plan is. “What do we have to do? What are the steps we have to go through to create these conditions for world peace, for the possibility of Monjoronson incarnating here and beginning his Magisterial Mission in earnest as a mortal of the realm?” But I say to you, what does that do to your opportunities to grow?

What does that do to your ability to co-create with us if we take the lead? No, we do not take the lead. We are a supporting role. We are an encouraging role. This is your world. This is your time. These are your choices to make. And by the choices you make, the decisions that you make, and the intentions that you form, you have tremendous opportunity to grow in your individual spiritual capacity. We would not interfere with that. Indeed, we would not for free will is sacrosanct. And if free will on this world literally wipes out species to the point of extinction, so be it.

But that is not the will of God for this world. That is not the original intention and purpose for this world. So those of you who are awakening to this responsibility to go within, to do the inner work, to remove the blockages in you that prevent this divine love from flowing more freely through you and allowing then the experience of the First Source and Center to be directly involved in the evolution of time-space, then you may be disappointed. But I say this is a wonderful moment in the history of this world, in the evolution of humankind, in the evolution of your ability to grow, and I would encourage you not to see difference and separation even in your disappointment. Disappointment is a constant companion for one that's on this path because we all have preconceptions. We all have these ideas of how we think it should be—expectations, and it never quite works out that way.

Now, how do you pick yourself up in the face of having your most cherished dreams and disappointments be dashed and carry on. But that's what you're faced with, to persevere in the face of what seems like insurmountable odds and allow your faith to grow to such a level that you begin to trust not only in us as planetary managers, not only in your heavenly Father, not only in Christ Michael, but in yourselves—in yourselves [repeated for emphasis]. You must learn to trust yourselves and allow yourselves to come to the precipice of indecision, of uncertainty, of disappointment, and then take a flying leap of faith into the unknown and know that you will be supported, that you will not fail, that you will not fall. And in that moment of taking that leap of faith is where your greatest growth comes from. So welcome disappointment, welcome confusion, welcome an inability to understand, to not understand, because it contains the seed of your evolution, your spiritual growth. Go within, seek Spirit's guidance, but at some point, all the guidance in the world will not avail you of very much if you don't act on it and take a leap of faith.

And so that's what we are asking you to do here. Allow your differences, talk about them, bring them up in a spirit of sister and brotherly love. Allow that they won't get resolved. Maybe you'll just have to learn to accept them as they are and still make a collective decision of how to move forward. And then as you move forward, you might have to make other decisions, some that might correct that decision, some that might augment it. But you'll be constantly making decisions, looking at and evaluating and making decisions. How do you align yourself with the will of the First Source and Center? What is that will? How can we discern it? These are matters of prayer, of intention, of seeking, and the seeking is done within.

We come together as a group; a common cause dedicated to the revelation of the loving presence of our heavenly Father within each of us. And that we want to create a society based upon that. And when we do that, we will enter the era of light and life.

Thank you all for your time. We are in attendance on you. Between these meetings we look on with great deal of interest as to how you go about reconciling these differences and decisions that you make to overcome them. This is an exciting time for us, and we thank you very much for your efforts. Go on my peace.

JT: Thank you Machiventa and thank you John.

Deborah: In some ways it's sobering. If we decide to kill ourselves, well that's what happens. But in other ways it's really exciting because all we have to do is find a peace of mind with being uncertain and not always being able to resolve our differences of opinion and being okay with that. But it seems to be a wonderful place for us to be, Machiventa says. So, I want to cultivate that attitude in myself.

Recca: Well, we are under the microscope of the universe of Nebadon on world 606 and the other planets in isolation. For others, who are in stable systems and planets, to observe the way Agondonters solve these problems of unseen faith—a faith in the unseen, the outworking of both providence and the Supreme Being, the evolution of the Supreme. And we are today, daily in our lives on this planet and the other planets released from quarantine, we are laboratory guinea pigs for some future in which these choices that we're making today in our daily practice are going to contribute. So, everything that we do matters. Our indecisions, our disappointments, our transcendence of disappointments, and our faith in the future matters in a tangible way.
