The purpose of material life at this stage is to get as close as possible to the eternal aim, to the achievement of perfection and the likeness to the Father. This task is going to take ages, but the foundation is established here, in this world. It is now when, as a creature, you can begin to get closer to the Creator and establish a working relationship with the Father through His Divine Presence: The Thought Adjuster within your being. This is the priority for those who aspire to achieve an eternal life of loving service and endless discoveries.

Being "Guided in Light" means you are trusting in faith that your Indwelling Spirit, your guardians, and other guides are seeing that you are growing in character and in the likeness of your Creator Father. This sounds very straight forward, but in reality, this is something that needs much consideration because many of you fail to see that character growth comes with disillusionment and a realization that what you believed to be true turned out to be a lesson in humility. These hard lessons in life are not always given as a way to "beat you up" and make you strong, but they are meant to get you to slow down and use your insights and discernment to hold decisions up to light--applying Truth, Beauty, and Goodness to the situation and possible outcomes before acting on them. Being "Guided in Light" means you are to be an equal partner with Guidance and "Apply Light" to your thoughts, decisions, and actions.

Teacher Thought Adjuster:
A part of the balance in your day is for you to harmonize personal desires with what is important in life. In this exercise of constant search for balance, you must decide between the effort to achieve spiritual and even intellectual progress and the acceptance of Divine Will. Firstly, you must understand that the Father’s Will does not imply stability, monotony or stagnation. The Father’s Will incites dynamism, continuous discovery, growth and improvement.

Greetings, my dear students,
In this fourth message in the Light and Life Series, I will speak about the implementation of the mind-set of Light and Life and how you can begin today using your mind as a citizen of Light and Life. This way of thinking is not reserved for future generations, but for you in this moment. The concept of a Light and Life mind-set is simple―the application of it is something that you work at everyday of your life here and hereafter. Because Light and Life is born from the mind―your thoughts and your neighbor's thoughts, it must also begin with you, and the beginning for you is when you arise each day―each new day brings new opportunities.

Stay in your peace--connect the heart with the mind and picture a placid lake and a sunrise emerging from the horizon of the water. Feel the warmth of the rising sun on your face and feel a gentle breeze against your skin.  Listen for the birds and wildlife to awaken to the new day.  See a cloudless blue sky unfold and know that the Creator lives in all things.  You are a part of all there is and you are connected to the light, the elements, to all other creatures--you belong to the earth and you are intimately connected to the Creator through His Indwelling Spirit.

Human beings are not — as some religionists proclaim — born in sin and therefore inherently sinners. On the other hand, human beings are not perfect — you are imperfect — therefore, you are susceptible to project evil and commit sin but, exclusively by choice, not by inheritance. There is no original sin. Since human beings are indeed imperfect, they live lives that are also imperfect which show flaws in variable degrees according to specific choices and unique experiences of each individual. Those flaws may constitute weakness, sin, wickedness and evil. They are, in fact, very common in lives that are not yet under the control of the Spirit Within, and fail to show the fruits of the spirit. Let’s today examine these basic flaws and how to overcome them in life’s experiences.

There is no doubt that fear has spread all over this world. The overabundance of bad news and the way in which the worst of human nature is promoted by the media contributes to the sense of insecurity that is felt by many. This makes the population susceptible to manipulation and to making rash decisions based on the impulse of self preservation.
