The answer is fairly simple. God created us that way.

Then, “What it is it about being IMperfect that helps God know Itself better?”

Only through imperfect beings who have total freedom and total responsibility for their choices and for their decisions could God experience the process of living from imperfection to perfection. Remember, earlier we said that the thing God did not have was the experience of becoming perfect as a process of living.

A similar question for us is this, “What is it like to be perfect?” For God, the question becomes, “What is it like to be IMperfect and to experience life as a process of becoming perfect?”

So, God created imperfect beings, then gave us Its Fragrance that lives within our minds so It can participate in the process of living and becoming perfect. How we become more and more perfect is to gain experience, learn, make wiser and wiser decisions, and create a more fulfilling life. We learn to live in harmony with others, then with our planet, and then the universe. The benefit for us is that as we live life, we learn to become perfect, and someday in the “afterlife” we will get to meet God in person.
