Every one of you reading this message is a light worker if you so use your will and intention to be aligned with the Light and to ask the Universal Father to be an instrument of His Will.  There are no prerequisites — all are being called to serve.  You do not need special abilities or acute awareness, for within you lives the Indwelling Presence of the Father — and that, my dear students, makes you more powerful than any dark power or principality in the universe.  Know that the moment you connect with this power through your thoughts, will, and intention, it brings you onto the Holy Ground of the Infinite.  You need not even to articulate a request — your faith alone to be the instrument of Father's Will is sufficient to open the storehouse of heaven.

Each one of you is powerful beyond your understanding and belief, for you truly posses a great gift―a Fragment of the Universal Father Himself  (known by other names―God Fragment, Higher Self, Indwelling Spirit of the Father, Thought Adjuster and others) living within your mind, and this gift is the Source of all goodness and the greatest power you can ever know, here and hereafter.  Though it would seem to many that there is nothing audible speaking to their minds, this powerful reality lives at the seat of the soul and identifies with your personality making it integral within the mind, so much so, that defining it as separate and apart is difficult.  Many of you understand the idea of being led by your Higher Self, yet few of you are actually believing that you have any real power that you can realize from this divine relationship.  It is possible for you to awaken to a new understanding of this power and goodness within, irrespective of where you stand in your spiritual path, and to accomplish this, you must be willing to begin again with a new perspective about your own self-worth.

There are many good and faithful followers of religion on Urantia that are dedicated to the doing of Father's Will.  It is to be noted that many of these dedicated followers do embody the tenants of their faith and try to lead lives that are in accordance with their religious beliefs.  They believe that they are doing Father's Will and many good services do they provide in helping their fellows who are in need of spiritual guidance and help dealing with the rigors of life.  Religions are important to the development of spiritual thought and may become a force of good when the intentions of the group are genuinely caring for the betterment of souls on Urantia.  As Urantia enters the enlightened eras of Light and Life, religions will begin to unify seeing the benefits of brotherhood when they support the intersecting values that all humans share. To get there, they will need to look at what divides them and come to an understanding that will require the revision of some rigidly held dogmas. Revision can only come about when followers begin questioning the authority of beliefs that feel discordant within their own souls.

In this third lesson on Light and Life, we will explore the differences between a rebellion mindset and a  mindset that is oriented toward progressive thinking ― a people moving into Light and Life.  It would be wise for us to consider the "Golden Rule" as a universal understanding―and that would be helpful to keep in the forefront of your thinking, but in application on a world conditioned by rebellion, the Golden Rule is mostly thought of as a Utopian idea that comes after your neighbor adopts this thinking.  Light and Life is a state of being―simply being in a relationship of goodness with your fellows.

I welcome you to this second lesson about Light and Life that will explain Urantia's unique case--that in the beginning stages of LIGHT AND LIFE, Urantia will not follow the more standardized progression of other developing worlds in the universe. There are several major factors that require Urantia be cared for in a way that makes it necessary to apply non-standard administrative procedures to move a world from a rebellion mindset to a mindset that is oriented toward the future progressive epochs of LIGHT AND LIFE.  For any advanced civilization to emerge in LIGHT AND LIFE requires that its citizens first change the way they think and act--they must first have a realization that moves them toward a more homogeneous way of seeing the world and all the peoples that live in it. On Urantia, this will require a "bonding process" that brings unity in brotherhood with all people--something so profound that all differences between them take a "backseat" to the need for understanding of global events and the problems that will need to be solved for the benefit of all mankind.  In that moment, you will see yourself and everyone in the world as being as human as yourself.
