Materialism is rampant within your world. A lack of love is predominant within your world, although there are certainly affections between mortals and a desire to bring love to those who are within their families and their experience in life. Yet the craving for mindful stimulation and distraction dampens severely the expression of the mind and the soul in the ways of love and affection for one another. Rather than honour one another in your world, you honour the creations, the technologies, the distractions that humanity has created in order to guide the mind away from its pain and emotional distress. Humanity seeks peace through distraction, seeking to be in the world in a way that is not truly of the world and in essence is very far from the reality of God’s Creation.

Teacher: Jesus ―
I come. I am Jesus and I come to speak to you. I wish for this instrument and for you both to set aside a morning a week for me to deliver important messages to the world. There needs be no distractions or pressures of time or conditions that are contrary to receiving these messages, so that we will enter into a sacred trust and endeavour to bring forth these messages together allowing the conditions of this beautiful place and Portal of Light to assist us in the delivery of higher truths. This commitment needs to be made consistently and in all seriousness and preparation so that the conditions within this place and within yourselves will be of the highest that you are able to attain. Let there be an eagerness in your soul to bring forth these messages and that there be peace around you and light and a deep desire for Love of God to impregnate every part of this place and every part of yourselves.

My Dear Students,
The conditions whereby consciousness operates on Urantia is in flux—constantly changing, and it is changing to benefit humanity. The opportunities for souls to progress are increasing in ways that have never been available at any other time since Christ Michael’s bestowal. Like all opportunities, it is up to you to decide to what to do with that opportunity—whether you step into the path of it or turn from it and let it pass. Those that step into opportunity’s path shall find the guidance that leads to a beautiful soul, for in asking Spirit for help in understanding your own thoughts, your life, and your world, you enter into a relationship with Spirit. It is in this sincere relationship with Spirit that divine guidance is given that moves the soul to discover a life of meaning—filled with Truth, Beauty, and Goodness regardless of the conditions.

On this Easter morning, you ponder what was My personal experience when I crossed the demarcation line between human life in the flesh and its continuance in a morontial form (a less dense energetic body) that will serve you on your next experiential plane.

“Jesus founded the religion of personal experience in doing the will of God and serving the human brotherhood; Paul founded a religion in which the glorified Jesus became the object of worship and the brotherhood consisted of fellow believers in the divine Christ”.  [The Urantia Book,  Paper 196:2:6]

It is undeniable that Jesus’ spiritual legacy got seriously misrepresented. Even though He rightfully earned the highest credentials for induction in the religious Hall of Fame, the last thing He ever aspired to was to be personally worshiped and glorified.

Christ Michael:
Good evening. This is Michael, and Mother Spirit right by my side. We both wish you a very Merry Holiday; and open yourselves to receive our love, this wonderful, wonderful emanation right from our Father, right from God. For love is the wonderful connective force that he promulgates throughout all of time and space, then right through Mother Spirit and me, down to you, and then through you--all this love, all this connective, appreciating force. You might say love is a force of appreciation for your lives, and for each other.

Any challenging emotional situation presents you with multiple choices. What you need to learn is to consistently take the higher emotional road, thus growing in self-mastery and self-esteem, as well as earning the respect of your peers. How else could you ever gain control over your baser propensities?
