Today, dear students on the path, we would like to expand your minds and go through a little exercise to stretch your imaginations and to help you use your god-given power to co-create. Like a painter, the artist uses a blank canvas to begin his masterpiece and so shall you also use a blank canvas of mind to create your vision. To “co-create” means to tap into that higher aspect of self—the Impersonal, Spiritual Coordinator within your mind, the Thought Adjuster. You all have a personal guidance team that works with you to help you achieve your higher goals and visions for growth and spiritual maturity. Your guidance team can do so much more for you if only you would use them as a daily resource. Let us now put a few colors on your canvas so that you may develop a sense of “co-creatorship” with your personal guidance team.

Teacher Ophelius:
Dear Students on the path, I would like to speak to you today about the single most effective way to attune and connect with your Divine Indwelling, your “Higher-self.” Certainly, all the previous messages that have been given on the subject of stillness and connecting to the Father Fragments is forthright and helpful, but there is one sure tried and true way that is most effective, and that is to simply go out into the world and engage others with a “Fatherly Love.” This Fatherly Love I speak of is not the love of a human father, but of The Divine Father—the Creator of all things. This is the love that Jesus spoke of to his Apostles that transcended the Golden Rule—to do unto your neighbor as you would have them do unto you.

Teacher Ophelius:
Many of you (light workers) are being challenged now, and for some, it has been like a dark night of the soul, which seems to have lasted for more than a fortnight. Just when you think all hope is lost, morning finally dawns. For if you can stay the course, asking for help and diligently searching for the answers, you shall find them and come out the other side wiser and stronger. These challenges are not punishments, or tests of your faith, yet they are something you need to deal with as you begin your ascent—entering a new paradigm of spiritual development. Many of your beliefs have been shattered, and the old scaffolding has fallen away leaving you open for greater truths and opportunities which shall lead you to greater service in the Correcting Time.

Chris: Teachers, a question was asked, “What is the difference between human consciousness and the soul? How does conscience and Thought Adjuster guidance differ?

Teacher Ophelius:
Thank you for the questions. First let me say that the explanation of consciousness and the soul are subject to the primitive forms of human language and human intellect which limits or constrains the more concise meanings for which they may be understood by the morontial mind or spirit mind. We shall then proceed with this caveat in mind in 600 words or less!

Teacher Ophelius:
Today, my dear friends and students on the path, we would like to discourse on the importance of our shared mission to enlighten, inform, guide, and teach the hungry souls of Urantia. There are many branches, leaves, and roots that feed and contribute to the mighty tree of the Correcting Time and each part of that system has its unique role and vital function that allows for a greater understanding of Great Plan at various levels of human comprehension. We are partners in this endeavor—Spirit is the light shining on the leaves and you are the water and nutrients flowing up through the roots. Together we grow and together we enjoy life as it is provided by the Creator in this great forest—the universes of time.

Chris: Teachers, could you please discourse on the nature and purpose of “spiritual dreams?”

Teacher Ophelius: 
Dear One, this is a topic for which we may first want to ask, “Why do we dream?” There are many reasons and purposes for what you call, “spiritual dreams,” and if I had to summarize the manifold purposes of these “communications” and bring them under one heading it would be: “Experience.” Spirit dreams prepare you for the next adventure in your ascendant life.

Teacher Ophelius: 
Dear One, you might think about Universal justice as the very best and most merciful part of your justice system, but without Deception, Corruption, Ego, and Politics. If any of you had been summoned to be a juror at a criminal trial, you would get a glimpse at foundational justice as it was conceived by your society—to be “fair and impartial” as you are being briefed by the judge of the court. Soon after this briefing, you begin to see how the politics and partiality set in because of the many factors that muddy the system having to do with human nature as it stands today. Human justice is “micro” and has more to do with penalty, punishment, and victim recompense for an individual, a group, or society for the life as it is lived on the earth. Universal justice is both “micro and macro”—it is super-human and has to do with mercy and healing—moving all things forward toward a greater destiny.

Teacher Ophelius:
Dear One, the question has been asked about the purpose and importance of “Stillness” meditation and how it differs from the practice of “mindfulness”—a popular method used by many in western culture to focus the mind on present awareness. There are many forms of meditation used by men and women around the world and each produces varying benefits depending on the intention used when participating in the practice. The one unifying benefit is that meditation brings the mind into a state of “true consciousness,” meaning: It has a grounding effect to release the mind from material concerns, emotional distresses, and the circumstances of time related activities, bringing awareness to the present moment—to experience a state of simply “being.” Stillness however, has an intention and goes beyond this static state of present moment awareness and brings consciousness into a more unified state with the Indwelling Spirit of the Creator.
