Teacher Ophelius:
The message for today, Dear One, is about growth and balance. Now, more than any other time in your life, do you have need to focus on your connection to the I AM. You are passing through another “Destiny Point” which shall require greater attention to your inner life. The busyness of your outer life—your work, family, and home responsibilities compete for your attention more and more. This next phase of your spiritual development shall require much more meditation time than you have allowed for in the past. Not just quantity, but the quality of your meditation needs improvement—a greater effort to reach deeper into the intimate connection with the I AM in such a way as you have not previously experienced. This is a time of preparation that shall not be dismissed or put off for a more convenient season—there is a convergence.

Teacher Ophelius:
God is Love. God is Spirit. God is all Powerful, all Knowing, all Wise, and Everywhere Present. His Creation and every creature in it exist as the eventuation of His desire to know and possess All Experience—to know Himself. As an answer to His primal question, “Who Am I?” the birth of the time-space universes came into being—to be the theatre for His children to experience life and to freely choose the path of knowing what it is to climb the ladder of life from imperfection to god-like perfection.

Teacher Ophelius:
The message for today is an address to those students on the path who feel like they are drifting and unable to understand their particular mission there on Urantia. Many of you have been indwelled with extraordinary Thought Adjusters—highly experienced Fragments of the Creator Father who have come to Urantia at this most auspicious and crucial time in its development—to re-align the collective consciousness of its people—to guide, enlighten, and teach universal truths—to reconnect the disconnected souls to their true selves—to awaken a sleeping planet from the illusions born out of centuries of confusion and self-serving delusions. Yes, it is an enormous task that is staggering to the imagination. Many of you have awakened and have had many extraordinary experiences—much divine attention has been given you to bring you to the table, yet as you sit there with empty plates, you ask, “Where is this food I am so hungry for?”

Teacher Ophelius:
Many of you students on the path go through phases where you feel you are regressing in your spiritual development—you feel distracted by your present life duties or career choices which seem to be encroaching on your meditative, creative, healing, or worship activities. There may also be some energetic interference in and around the various layers of the planet which may cause you to feel disconnected, and many are feeling this at present. Whatever the case may be—know this, Dear One: You are here to experience life in all the fullness and contrast that planetary life brings. There shall be times when your spiritual development may seem to wane and wavier, yet are you still growing through experience! Have no fear, for fear is the one most potent spirit poison there is for the creative mind. It shuts down the flow of creativity from the Inner Pilot who guides you.

Teacher Ophelius:
Today, my beloveds, I would like to speak about depression. Many of you suffer from this state of mind for many reasons, real and imagined. For some it comes on because of a lack of purpose in their lives — a loss of drive to become more than what they are. It is stagnation and it leads to digression of soul development. Depression is one of the spirit poisons, and it separates one from the doing of the Father’s will. In many ways the state of being depressed can be used as a rationalized excuse for circumventing the Father’s will by ignoring the leadings of the indwelling spirit, and thus the guardian seraphim must take corrective action to get the person back upon the road to real soul building and spirit progression.

Teacher The SUMERIAN:
Today, dear students, in continuation of our study of the Elements of Development, I would like for you to participate in an exercise of the mind. I would like for you to slow down; forget about the world around you for a moment; forget about your worries for the future; forget about your regrets of the past, and take a look deep inside yourself in this moment. Bring yourself onto the hallowed grounds of the true essence of your being. Explore the living, conscious awareness of the self and think deeply about what life actually is—that you are a living, breathing, thinking, self-aware entity—a beautiful and marvelous being of complexity and sovereignty—with volition and power to think and choose as you will. See your life as if looking at a movie in rapid forward motion from your birth into this world until the present. Think about all the thoughts you have ever had up until this moment and think about the thoughts and questions you have asked as you have had each new experience in this life—as a child, as adolescence, and as an adult. Ask the question: “Why am I here?”

Teacher:  The Sumerian
The message for today is the beginning of a series of lessons about laying a new foundation and establishing new ways and routines for developing your spiritual life. There are many reading these messages who feel frustrated and defeated in their attempts to sit in silence and tap into the wealth of spiritual blessings that are available. Each one of you students is created uniquely and is conditioned differently in your environment, so there are some techniques that may work better than others, but in any method, there are some common elements that are universal. We will examine these elements so that you can understand and learn to use them in your own creative way and build a personal foundation that is best for you.

Today, my dear friends and students on the path,
On behalf of my colleagues, the Circle of Seven, and all the Mansonia Teachers, I would like to extend to you our sincere and heart felt gratitude for participating with us in the Great Plan to bring your world back into the fold of Father’s Will—to bring Life and Light to this most unusual planet. Each one of you, as Agondonters, plays an important role in this effort, no matter how great or how small you think that effort is—all, as a combined chorus in the grand opus of cosmic progress, adds his or her voice to the cacophony of faithful voices who knowingly holds the values of Truth, Beauty, Goodness, Compassion, Mercy, Forgiveness, and Love above the many discordant and confused voices of a world in contrast to these fruit bearing values of Light. We thank you and hope that you will continue to grow with us and shine your light with even greater brilliance into the coming year.
